I stayed four nights here and the service was second to none, the room beyond reproach and the food in the restaurant excellent.

This is how hotels should be run. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Simply excellent.

The Vineyard is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travel - this was our third visit. The hotel is well-positioned in Cape Town, with spectacular views of Table Mountain, surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens along the Liesbeek River. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are modern, comfortable and well-appointed. The restaurants are good, and the hotel also has a variety of interesting artworks on display. The outdoor terrace is a great place to enjoy a meal while soaking up the ambience of the idyllic setting. Keep an eye open for the large tortoises which roam the gardens, a favourite attraction for children!

Room Tip: The courtyard-facing rooms have views of beautiful ponds and water-features, and are a good choice i...

Set in the suburbs the hotel has extensive grounds with lovely mountain views. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Go for the rooms overlooking the mountain - the view is much nicer than those overlooking the courtyard garden. Easy walk to Cavendish Shopping Centre. If you are a family splash out on the enormous garden cottages.

We attended a food and wine appreciation evening hosted with Creation wines. The kitchen provided a super 5 course meal served with excellent Creation wines. The venue is centrally situated in Cape Town and the hotel provides excellent accommodation. We stayed in a modern double room overlooking the garden and mountain. The room was comfortable with bath and shower. The breakfast served in the dining room and garden was excellent. You have the option of ordering from the kitchen or helping yourselt from the buffet. We selected the buffet which was excellent.
A good stay well recommended

Room Tip: book a room with a mountain view

The friendliest hotel in Cape Town everyone here makes us feel extremely welcome on arrival every time we visit! So great for families and also fine for business visits to Cape Town. Located the "far side" of Table Mountain there are fantastic views of this mountain and this side everything is green and lush. Garden is very nice with three to four tortoises to entertain you. Food is excellent and there is a lovely outside terrace. Rooms are very comfortable and functional. The staff are the best!

This is my fourth trip to the Vineyard and it has been very constantly at a high level. Its understandable why it receives great reviews. The setting is not central Cape Town but it loses nothing for that. The gardens are far better than anything in town can offer.
It has become my preferred destination whenever I am in Cape Town for business.
Staff are helpful. Breakfasts offer a huge choice. Rooms are a good size and offer excellent views on the mountain side.

Room Tip: Go for the mountain views as they add a lot to the feel of the stay.

While on business trip, I stayed only a couple of nights at the Vineyard and wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel is a little gem hidden just outside Cape Town, the gardens are very nice and the pool side is so relaxing!
Dinner in the main restaurant Myoga was great, we chose the tasting menu with matching wines, it was just superb, excellent food, nicely presented, the waiters were so attentive and explained all about the wine selection. The "open kitchen" gives a very modern touch in this colonial style place.
The bedroom was very comfortable, modern and nicely decorated.
It's such a nice place, I would love to go back with my family!
