“The Vineyard Hotel and Spa”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

We had the most wonderful two night stay at the Vineyard Hotel and Soa.
Our welcome was really special and we loved our room with incredible views of the mountain.
The staff are incredibly friendly and generally, the service is superb.
Breakfast on the terrace is really good and the swimming pool area is beautiful.
We would highly recommend this hotel. The Spa is also world class.

Room Tip: We had a room with a view of the mountain which was really lovely

This hotel has fantastic grounds. They roll away from the hotel into woods with a stream - wonderful outdoors atmosphere (with a great tortoise if you can find him).

They have a great outdoor pool (plus a smaller indoor one) and a very good gym facility. All-in-all, great facilities. The Charlotte Rhys toiletries are great!

Unfortunately there is evidence that the hotel is getting to be a little long-in-the-tooth. Our bathroom has a cracked sink, peeling adhesive around some attachments and pencil marks from the workers who installed fixtures. The internet is also unbearably slow. Two of the three treadmills at the gym were out of order. The management should pay some attention to these issues.

Wonderful hotel, great personalised service, good food, magnificent views of Table Mountain, beautiful grounds to wander around.
From the moment we arrived, all the staff were attentive but unobtrusive, helpful and obliging.
The kitchens packed us a lovely picnic and supplied us with blankets for our New Year's Eve Concert at Kirstenbosch Gardens. Other picnickers seemed to look on with envy!

Just returned from a lovely stay at the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble.
I had a room overlooking the mountain which was very spacious and clean.

Food was very good and bar prices were reasonable.

Ideal location for Cape Town with a shuttle service supplied by hotel to the Waterfront throughout the day.

Room Tip: All the rooms were nice but the view of the mountain is fab

I stayed at the Vineyard for 3 night on business. My room overlooked the gardens and the back of Table Mountain. The bed was massive, i think it was an Emporer and the room facilities were 1st class. Large bathroom with both a bath and a shower, which is quite unusual these days. Excellent food, especially the breakfast. great selection. My only complaint would be that the air on was quite noisy, but not if you had the fan on its slowest speed and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and was very slippery .

The Vineyard Hotel is an oasis of peace where security considerations can be forgotten. The service is top-class from the moment of arrival until departure. The gardens are beautiful, the pool-area is well serviced, and the bar is very comfortable. The dining room serves an excellent breakfast and evening meal. We would love to go back!

Room Tip: Opt for a mountain-facing room.

Staying at the Vineyard Hotel is like coming home. Im always greeted with a 'welcome back' and from check-in to check-out you're made to feel right at home. The location, setting and view of Table Mountain will take your breath away -- every time. There is no other place like it in Cape Town or anywhere else!
