The thought about collecting my daughter at 0530 in the morning from OR Tambo was a little daunting! That all changed the moment I arrived at this small boutique hotel! The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly and there was a warm glow of a fire inside. The owner, Otto, personally assisted me with my overnight bag and showed me to my room. The decor was beautiful with a stone bath, a spacious shower and a huge comfy bed with good quality white linen!

My friends who were also collecting their daughters at the airport stayed at a B&B nearby. They joined me for dinner that evening in the intimate and cosy restaurant at the hotel. The chef, Joyce, explained the menu to us as well as recommended pairing wines to complement the gourmet meal. The food was delicious and all of us had a tasty and beautifully plated starter, main course and dessert. Pallet cleansing sorbet was served between each course. We finished off the delicious meal with freshly brewed coffee.

I can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't like the idea of staying in a huge airport hotel!

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful!

If you are looking for a different kind of Hotel away from the 200 bedroom kind, then this Hotel is the one! What a beautiful Hotel, so intimate and the room we had No.9 was lovely.
We were picked up by a BMW whisked through the traffic to a lovely area in the town where the Hotel is tucked away.
We only had one night there but it was so nice to chill out and have a lovely meal in their restuarant. It is also a lovely experience with an open kitchen and the chef herself, comes out and goes through the menu, saying what spices she has used and we order after hearing about her menu.
We thought that was a lovely touch seeing the chef and hearing of why she used her ingredients for that night.
It is small the Hotel so it just has a small area for a bar but they have a sitting space upstairs for you to use and relax which we did before our meal.
The room we were in had our bath and shower in the main room, so having a bath beside your bed was really quirky. Nice touches and the breakfast was really really nice. Homemade breads etc,. Then taken back to the Airport in the car again so we felt so relaxed as the Hotel car is available for you alone. I would really recommend this Hotel for something different.

Room Tip: Rooms beside the pool are all nice, ground floor with a good path.

Unfortunately we only spent one night there, but what a surprise.
The rooms are really big, clean, well decorated and if you are on a diet dont
go there. The food is delicious but they serve so much food its ridiculous.
Really very good. Breakfast was outstanding and the chef went out of her way to make pancakes for my daughter(not on the menú). Small Hotel but superb service and quality, must be a very cute place to stay in summer, the pool is really nice.
If you dont have to be close to Joburg.... this is a really nice spot to stay.

Room Tip: We had three romos and all romos were great. better is they are near the pool.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to write a nice review, much appreciated. Yes we have a good kitchen with 2 wonderfully creative chefs, sometimes the 5 or 8 course dinner is too much.. :) and one, including me, does not want to leave anything on the plate either..... Situated close to the Airport, we are about 20 km away from JNB city center with quick access to one of the major routes into town. we wish you and the family many more travels!! Otti

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights while on our honeymoon. The staff was really nice, and the rooms were great. For each meal the chef came to our table and explained the dining options we had. The springbok was delicious!!

This hotel is not far from the airport, and is a great place for travelers to stay. The pool is very nice. The rooms were all very modern and well appointed. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and near the airport -this is the place. We were greeted at the airport and driven to this small boutique hotel in a residential area. The staff (Otti, Zelda, Joyce, Corina, Lizaan) were marvelous. We arrived mid-evening after traveling for 24 hours and could not have asked for better service or place to relax. We were able to go to our room to freshen up and have a light leisurely meal before retiring for the night. Almost like being in your own home.

The garden and pool area are beautiful as were the rooms. Having the dining area on site was great. The following day we toured Johannesburg and returned to this oasis for massages in our room, followed by a delicious dinner prepared by Joyce.

Very convenient to the airport - I would definitely stay here again and would recommend over the larger hotels in the area.
