We went to Maboneng, both excited as we have never been there. It seems to be an idea that hasn't taken off as yet. There are some places that are no longer open that they have listed on the maps. It is a great morning outing.

There’s everything in Maboneng. From food, street clothing to Salsa dancing. If you are looking for a taste of African cuisine try Pata Pata restaurant

Area in Joburg that caters to their art, craft, rich culture. You can find everything from rooftop bars, restaurants, beads, healers, pharmacy, paintings, markets & more.

This is an fab place to visit. There are nice restaurants, from traditional to a great Argentinian restaurant call Che.

Bars and people hovering, comings and goings gives the place a little cosmopolitan vibe.

My favorite is Sunday morning at Arts on Main when the food market happens, with s huge array of food vendors with their wonderful freshly made dishes to choose from.

My only peeve would be it’s a very small area and parking is terrible
