I had the privilege of staying at this stunning hotel for five days . What a well run & managed hotel . The service is superb , yet unobtrusive .The food is outstanding , creative & just divine ! The rooms are beautifully decorated , yet quirky and quaint . This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in so far . The staff & GM are absolute Gems . Do try this excellent hotel. The restaurant is one of the best in the Rosebank area .

Dear Traveller 752

Thank you for your beautiful review of our hotel. I are most pleased that you enjoyed your stay and that you noticed our unobtrusive service delivery. Further to this, it is good to hear that you enjoyed the food in our restaurant - we certainly are blessed with one of the finest Chefs in the country. Chef Ryan always takes the culinary experience to the MAX.
Your very kind comments regarding the staff will certainly be conveyed to the whole team.
I personally look forward to seeing you again very soon and truly loved having you at the hotel.
Fondest of regards - Martin.

We spent 3 nights at The Winston Hotel, and really enjoyed our stay there. Its located near Rosebank, a lovely place in Johannesburg. The decor is stunning, with very spacious and comfortable rooms, not to mention delicious food served a the hotels' restaurant. The staff service was really helpful and friendly, and we would definately recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to South Africa.

Myself and my Husband stayed at the Winston Hotel for 4 nights during April 2012. We are a couple in our Golden Years and we have travelled extensively around the world over the past 5 years. Never in our travels have we come across a hotel so perfect as the Winston Hotel. It is simply beautiful in all aspects. The staff are incredible, very well trained and they all deliver the most exceptional levels of service. The gardens, oh my goodness – it is like the one in Eden. What I really truly loved about this amazing hotel is that when we got into bed the first night, and every night thereafter, the Chamber Maids had warmed our bed via an electric blanket – very rare to get that service anywhere in this world. We shall definitely be returning to this excellent hotel to be pampered again.

We are usualy looking for an affordable luxury hotel to make our stay special when visiting Gauteng and stayed at the hotel for two nights. It's a nice small hotel with wonderful quirky decor, but still modern. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It's also located near Rosebank and major shopping destinations and walking distance from the Rosebank Gautrain station.

The only problem we had was a cold water shower (seems that the geizer was off). Although the staff is very friendly and helpfull, it was clear that they are overworked (maybe working too long hours?) The setting of the breakfast area near the swimming pool was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something special.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a private courtyard or balcony

My wife and I stayed for three nights in February, Amazing is all we can say. The warmth of the staff, the décor and the services are incredible. The attention to detail in every aspect made our stay absolutely magical.nothing was overlooked. We enjoyed our first night's evening meal so much that we decided to have all our meal-times in the restaurant at the hotel – the food is incredible. We later discovered that the hotel had recently appointed a new chef, whom we had the privilege to meet – what incredible food he creates! The rooms and public areas of this property are simply stunning, as are all the people who work there – nothing is too much trouble for them, and everything is done with great style and finesse. The beds and the bed linen are the most comfortable we have ever encountered in any hotel around the world. We shall definitely be returning to The Winston Hotel, as soon as possible.
