Amazing exhibition of plasticised bodies - i will go again as there was so much to take in. I work with Trauma, and it is so clear and interesting to see how the nervous system works, for example.

We recently went to the Body World - Circle of Life Exhibit on a Saturday afternoon. I am not a medical person and didn't think I would be too keen, but It was fascinating. Excellent exhibit, while worth the price. I was a little disappointed in the "crowd control" that they advertise as it was extremely busy and suggest you go in the week.

Fascinating exhibition of human bodies. Saw the animal exhibition and was keen to see this one. Really amazing and awe inspiring. Made me respect human body even more. Miracle of human life.

We went to the Body Worlds exhibition and it was on the same day as some kind of festival taking place right nextdoor. The streets were packed, parking was hard to come by and we did not feel safe at all. Inside, the centre is a bit run down, with quite a few staff members just hanging around and playing with their cell phones. I am sure that schools may benefit from field trips here, but as a family outing, it certainly was disappointing. The Body Worlds exhibition was stunning, though!

We went there on a rainy weekend day. It's a wild science museum with hundreds of hands-on toys and exhibits to play with, living inside a very neat old industrial building (I think an old power station). Friendly staff, no lines, cheap admission, and just as engaging as any science museum anywhere.

The museum is actually run by the Johannesburg Department of Education, so it is used heavily by school groups during the week. But on weekends, it's open but with many fewer people there.
