Tasty food which one selects from the counter. Interesting selection of salads and the cakes are rather delicious. The price of the baked goods is a little steep. When it is hot, I prefer to sit inside as the awning outside traps the heat.

Situated in the cafe hub of parkhurst..Be mesmerised by the mouth-watering assortment of pastries and cakes on trend, all strategicically placed in the window display... you'll just have to enter :-P .... inside is an equally beautiful countertop, laiden with mounds of meringues, quiches(if you come early you'll manage to nack a few) and as we are heading into the festive season there are hundreds of goodie bags filled with butter biscuits all packed and ready to be gobbled up at home #nom nom nom#

the display usually consists of about 20 freshly baked items - petit fours; red velvet cupcakes; flourless gutlet free chocolate cake; macadamia nut cheesecakes; quiche etc etc etc...

this is a perfect spot to catch up with the girls. mainly for teaor brunch. my suggestion : order an assortment to share or enquire about the hightea which is a selection of sandwiches; hot and cold foods; sweet treats and your option of a juice and a hott drink.

the breakfast menu includes: egges benedict, omelettes; muesli; yoghurts; salads; muffins; french toast; pancakes and quiche.

on my particular outing - the service was slightly lacking as the waiter nummerously forgot about my orders. i suppose he might have been new and to he was tending to 4 tables.

the cakes are more costly than an ordinary home baker - about R40 for a tart or R25 for a petit four!

####MUST TRY!!! THE FRESH CROSSIANTS, BAKED WITH A BISCUIT MIX IN THE TOP AND FILLED WITH COCOCNUT CUSTARD... ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY CALORIE####

Lovely lovely cake - really beautiful selection of red velvet, chocolate and others.
Sadly the lunch salads and quiche and pies sell out very fast so you will be disappointed if you get there a little later.

Great cakes and pastries. Very good salads and light meals. Now open at night. Service is slow even when the place is not busy and the waiters are not well trained. Better during the day

I went there today and ordered macon, it was way past the expiry date and was very 'vrot'. I wonder if any other ingredients in my food were also expired if they feel if its okay to serve expired meat...
