Not boring, really crowded.
You can find a bunch of images if you don't want to read, or a bunch of articles. Don't bring any kids, this is not a place for kids .

“Great museum”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Wonderful exhibits telling you about the Apartheid movement. Did not know that Jewish , and Greek people were active in helping the blacks of South Africa fight for equality., I learned a lot from the news reels. Loved the history of Nelson Mandela, and finding out that his father was a chief of a tribe, and seeing info.on his parents, what he looked like as a child, young man, and as a adult. There is a amusement park, and casino near the museum

“Great Experience for South Africans too!”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Having lived through the Apartheid era, and having had involvement in anti-Apartheid activity, I visited somewhat reluctantly, but was blown away by the international-level building and display.

“A real eyeopener”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

An excellently presented museum that tells an extraordinary story in a way that you can take in a summary or dig deeper to learn the background of each story.
The restaurant/ cafe served a great lunch - unfortunately we didn't notice that the special of the day was ostrich burger until we'd already ordered but what we had was delicious

Excellent museum which guides you through the history of South Africa which is very moving and sad at times but a big learning experience. Thank god this era of South Africa is over.
