Our first visit to the stadium for the SA-New Zealand game. Excellent facilities, easy access to refreshments and toilet facilities.
Great atmosphere at the game.

What a wonderful sight from a far BUT don't try and get there when rugby is on by car , The stadium was obviously not designed for people who used motor vehicles as a mode of transport in mind.To get to your parking sold to you for R150 takes 2 hours BUT no one knows where this is , the SSD security company used was atrocious and should be fired immediately. There were plenty of gates build to get spectators into the stadium but only half were used another frustrating delay. Once inside the stadium do not try and buy anything as they can not handle the amount of spectators trying to get drinks or food, no vendors in the stands selling beverages or water,The atmosphere was spectacular and the anthem best ever . But this is not the first rugby game their and if you can not learn move it back to the professionals at Ellis Park .

Just visited Soccer City/FNB Stadium so watch SA play the All Blacks (rugby!). the venue is fab - seating up to 100,000 people. Atmosphere was superb & the stadium has a great feel. it could be improved by signposted parking - I had pre-booked General Access for R150 but no directions how to get there & you are much hassled by guys running alongside the car trying to persuade you to park where they are showing you! Also, service at the bar was really poor - not enough staff - hubbie missed most of the tries!! Overall, a great venue in Soweto - just hope the locals get to go inside at some point!

After the 2010 world cup it is good to see that the stadium still draws good crowds. When there is an event the experience is great.
