I've been going here on and off for many years and it is still great. The area is quite downmarket but the restaurant and bar were full on a Tuesday lunch. Prawn cakes are excellent but don't get too many, they are rich and large and you want to save space for your main course. I had 4 kings and 6 queen prawns. Really the best you can get anywhere - large succulent and filling. Others in the group had steak and peri peri chicken and it was all good. But go for the seafood - prawns, bacalhau
