Excellent outdoor seating and a nice piazza vibe. As a storm was brewing, the friendly staff quickly ushered us inside and assisted our wheel chair bound friend to the table.
The very competent manageress quickly sorted out the apparent problem with our order (which we did not even notice) and provided us with a complementary and very tasty green salad while we were waiting.
The Italian Stallion pizza was well worth waiting for and went well with the Butterfly Juice Chardonnay. The Bird Bath Merlot and Lazy Pussy Pinotage sounded tempting too. These are house wines worth trying, but a comprehensive wine list is also available.
Apart from the traditional, the menu boasts of a wide variety of pizzas made with imagination and flair. This is fun food with names such as Cool Runnings, Porky the Pig and Pavement Special (no, not road kill). There is a choice of anti pasta and pasta dishes to cater for any taste.
This was a happy night out with good friends, good food, and excellent service. It did not feel like a franchise at all and rather gave the impression of a committed owner and staff dedicated to their customers. Keep it up girls!
