Lovely and peaceful in the heart of Sandton. The room was spacious, and luxurious. I stayed here for about 10 days. The staff was friendly and the garden was very peaceful. The property is very safe and there is plenty of parking if you have a car with you. Within a stone's throw from Sandton City and Hyde Park - it is a perfect location to reach Randburg, JHB City Centre and Rosebank. The internet connection is fast and uninterrupted. It feels like a home away from home! I would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful experience at this place and the stuff is very friendly. They really look after you hey. We were having a laddie’s tea and bridal shower there. We were there for just the afternoon but I wished it was for more than that. The set up was amazing and the food was very delicious. Even though the weather was overcast, there surroundings of this place were just breath taking. I will budget to go there one day even if it's for one night.

I enjoyed a four night stay here on a business trip.

The room very spacious an well set up, and provided a very comfortable place to work from.

The location meant a very good nights sleep due to the quiet surrounds.

Peter and the staff were very helpful, no request was too much and all were dealt with promptly.

I would definitely recommend the Sandton Boutique Hotel as a place to stay.

I stayed here for 4 nights while on recent business in Johannesburg. This hotel has service and comfort above most others I have stayed in. The rooms are large, and well furnished with antique furniture. The highlight to my stay is being able to walk out of your room into a quite, well kept and pleasant garden. Far nicer than walking onto a street. Only a short taxi trip from Sandton station and centre. I will be staying here on my next visit. Thanks Peter.

Cottage like rooms very nicely setup, with all amenities of a 5 star hotel. Love the under floor heating in the winter! Breakfast was ok, could do better. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Close to sandton shopping mall in a beautiful area. Would recommend.

We stayed here while applying for a visa at the US Embassy, which is only 10 minute walk (as is the mall). Everything is the best that you could expect– heated floors, in-suite WiFi internet (free), several lounge areas arranged to make it feel like home, a safe community, a good breakfast etc, etc...

But what sets 28A on Oxford apart is their fantastic hospitality. When they found out my wife was pregnant the upgraded and moved our reservation closer to the main house at not charge. Absolutely everyone on the staff is kind & competent and they communicate well between themselves and their guests.

One morning we greeted the groundskeeper, Edward and when he heard we needed a taxi, he said no problem! He left his rake and arranged it while we went in for breakfast. If you don't know Johannesburg, Peter does. Michelle picked up groceries for my wife.

When we called for a taxi from the local clinic back to the hotel, they taxi driver clarified the address: "You mean Peter's place? he always has people there even when nobody does." And it's no surprise, after staying there once it would be hard to book anywhere else.

My husband and I had to extend our stay in this beautiful hotel for 10 months and it became our home in that time. Thanks to Peter, Edward, Michelle, Florence and Vusi for the impeccable service, nothing was too much to ask for. Edward's garden is surley one of the best in Johannesburg! It was such a pleasure to stay here and we will miss you all. Love from Gordon, Maria, Mindy and off course Max!!!

Room Tip: A must for anyone seeking a serene and luxurious place to stay that is more like home away from home...
