We were fortunate to be invited to a private function at Assaggi. It was feast! Choices for starters were prawn and avocado platter, beef carpaccio or baked melanzane. Mains were fried sole, spinach cannelloni or the superb signature veal dish. Desserts included nona's cake (a bit like tiramisu), panna cotta or a selection of gelati.
It was a wonderful afternoon of food and drink. Sorry, can't comment on the price but the food was excellent. Well worth a visit.
