Don't be put off by the area when visiting this restaurant it has character(s) in plenty and a good draft beer to accompany your meal. The menu is not the most extensive but it is always worth asking if there are any specials. Sometimes good old pub grub 'liver and onions' or an old favourite of many is casseroled rabbit. Chicken dishes are generously portioned as is a firm favourite chicken livers taken either as a starter or main. Prawns are not only large and well cooked but compared with other more fashionable eateries quite affordable as is King Clip and Sole. Finish lunch or supper with a competetively priced Dom Pedro in this well worth a visit family run restaurant.
