“Gentle cats”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

Getting so close to cheetahs is quite an experience. They seem to be very gentle cats although one remains a bit cautious around them. They also seem to be comfortable around people. Nice experience

“A special experience...”
Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

I've been to a few places that are homes to these big beauties, our neighbouring farm is even a lion farm, so one is never sure what to expect, but today I was pleasantly surpised in the overall experience we had, even though the Free State sun was BLAZING, we still had one heck of a day! The overall cleanliness of each enclosure is simply wonderful and you can see that a lot of work goes into keeping the standards as high as they are! You also meet the volunteers, who come from far, in our case Germany and Norway, to help keep the Cheetah Experience exactly that, an experience! I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to simply break away from reality for a few hours! Thank you to our guides Cat and Lina and a big thank you to Riana for this establishment!

Thank you very much for your visit and support. We are all animal lovers and the animals are our first priority. Caring for them and loving them is really a previledge.

“A fantastic experience!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

You never know what to expect when you go somewhere that keeps big cats (there's always the concerns, are they sedated/cared for properly, are the enclosures clean, are they happy) but I can honestly say that visiting Cheetah Experience was the best thing I did in Bloemfonten. The tour guide was really knowledgeable, kind and helpful, the animals had good enclosures and seemed to have lots to do and the animals were really amazing! I never thought I would get to pet a black leopard or a serval (I didn't even know they existed) or a cheetah. It was amazing and the message of conservation and protection that came across was inspiring. This isn't just a place where you can see and touch amazing animals, it's a place that really seems to want to make a difference. A must for any animal lover.

A most informative and entertaining day. Friendly and enthusiastic staff and beautiful animals. I can recommend this as one of the best things to do in the Bloemfontein area and all for a good cause.

“Must-see in Bloemfontein”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

This is the one thing that made our stay in Bloemfontein worthwhile. We got to pet serval cubs, a cheetah, a leopard cub and a tiger cub, as well as see several other species from close by. A unique experience and, at only 100 rand per person, great value for money. The volunteers were also very nice.
