This was the first restaurant we visited on our trip to South Africa. We ate with relatives who live in the area. It is located in the heart of St Francis village surrounded by the many shops and appears to be very popular amongst the locals! The ambience was great......informal and buzzing. As other have said, it has a typical Italian 'cantina' feel and the staff provide a good eating experience. Service is speedy and efficient and the food is excellent. I had a very tasty lasagne and my other half had a ham and mushroom pizza that he raved about! The tomato garlic bread was utterly delicious....Mmmmm. The wine list is extensive and we were spoilt for choice. Altogether a brilliant start to our holiday. Although we didn't book in advance, we managed to get a table for four but I suspect it is very busy in the height of summer and would suggest booking in advance. Wish we would have had the time to re-visit but sadly our busy schedule wouldn't allow.
