Driving thru Kayenta we stopped at Amigo's for supper. Not fancy, the the service was quick and pleasant. As tourists definitely in the minority with the locals. Our food was served quickly, hot and fresh, by an attentive waitress. My wife had the indian taco which could have fed many. Very good. I had the special-pork with posole and frybread. My first experience with posole was flavorful and also very good. Would definitely go back when in the neighborhood. A fun, good, out of the ordinary, dining experience. The world needs more of these and less fast food.

Very good mexican, we really enjoyed our burritos.
The salsa they give you with chips as a starter is very spicy, recommended to those who like spicy tastes.

We ate lunch at this cafe before the Monument Valley sunset tour. Food was amazing and portions were large.

Nice little restaurant for a lunch stop that is 25 miles from Monument Valley. The staff are ultra friendly the portions are enormous. The fry bread tostada was big enough to serve 3 people.

Usually, when we are around Kayenta, we stop at this restaurant. We enjoy it! Nothing fancy by the food is good and cheap. The stall is very nice. The ambiance is a bit "family restaurant from the 80s" where you have the feeling the time stoped...
