Great food and good service. A quaint place, lots of locals eat here. Enchiladas, tacos, and salsa were all authentic, homemade. Not a fancy place, a little dive- ish, but very good.

On our way to Chama NM we discovered this great little place. Food very tasty fresh
And flavorful. Chorizo egg dish was my favorite. Family had other egg dishes and all were
Delicious. Service was great too! Experience was really great and so unexpected in this out of the way place.

We visited Amigo on a weekday for dinner. Several local families were also there for dinner. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Atmosphere was OK - nothing fancy. Service was also excellent. If we visit Monument valley again, we will eat here once more.

Why do I travel? So I can find places like this. Great local, authentic food served up in a unassuming atmosphere, by nice people at a decent price. After trying to go to the Sonic and a Chinese place, neither of which we could stomach from just the smell of each and the general lack of cleanliness, we went here. What a savior they turned out to be. Great salsa, big portions, and nice servers in a small restaurant.. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast the next day. Just as good. Prices are average, but portions makeup for it as well as their refried beans. Best place in Kayenta hands down.

Searching using my GPS provided this restaurant which seems to be frequented mostly by locals. In a converted house, the restaurant had excellent but very hot salsa and great lunch portions. The taco and very small tamale we got was excellent and the guacamole salad was fresh and more than enough for two.
