This 85-year-old man gave an extremely person story of how he came to be picked by the Marines, his training, how the code was developed, and some of the hardships they endured. It was very moving to meet this Marine. He was also very gracious to all.

Stopped off at the Burger King for lunch (on way to Momument Valley) and spent a good amount of time looking at the exhibit, since its free whilst you eat was suitably entertained by it.

My family and I went to visit Monument Valley. My lovely niece booked us a tour on the Navaho Reservation. The visitors centre and museum was beautiful and well laid out. Our guide met us at the hotel lobby on time and smiling. Duffy Holiday was his name. Five of us in this family group and he became the sixth member of our family,by tours end.
Duffy drove us onto the Reservation, beautiful desert red land and rock formations.
My favourite part of this tour was being taught how to see the invisible cave dwellings, food stores and campsites. Fascinated by the ancient pottery pieces, and the Navaho refrigerator!
I was disappointed not to be able to climb up onto the rocks due to my disability. No matter the view from below just as beautiful as the view from above.
Make sure you bring a camera as you will not be able to stop taking pictures of Everything!
Be ready to walk, climb and scamper comfy shoes a must.
Give yourself plenty of time as there is much to see, stories and culture to be imparted. Our group age ranged from 59 to 15 and Duffy was able to relate to us all in a lovely respectful manor.
He is a really great character, great sense of the humorous. He answered all our questions, no question to silly to ask. We travelled at a leisurely pace and heard detailed historical facts previously unknown. Over all I would recommend this tour highly and if you are lucky you will get to meet Duffy as your guide to sights and wonders of this beautiful land and Navaho Nation!
PS. Bring water,go to the bathroom before you start the tour and if you bring food DO NOT leave any trash.

Didn't even know this was here until we drove by and it was advertised. It made our decision as to where breakfast was going to be the next morning. Thank you!
