We were looking for accommodation specifically in this area, as we had to be close by for a function, so this was our only option. What I loved about it was that it's on a farm, so there's lots of animals, and we were greeted by about 7 very friendly dogs, and I love animals, so I was ecstatic!
The accommodation consists of two rooms, one for a couple and the other for a family, and then one shared bathroom. Think backpackers, but nicer. We did not mind the one bathroom, as we were the only people there, but I can imagine if you like your privacy, it might be a bit of a problem.
The rooms were very neat and tidy, and the kitchen gets the morning light, so having coffee with the sun streaming through was lovely. The communal kitchen is very well equipped, and everything is spotless.
The only two things I wish were different was more bedding, we were there in the winter, and the beds were made up with summer sheets and only a duvet, and better loo paper! Also, I thought the price of R200 per person per night was a bit steep for what you get.
But if you're a young laid back couple or family, and you need to be close to PE but you're not a fan of the city vibe - this place is for you!
