Had driven quite a long way - north of Port Elizabeth - Shamwari (will be reviewed very positively) This hotel only has about 12 rooms, all in their own small private separate areas,(mini bungalows) none can over look the other, all (I think) have views out of a small winding river and marsh land). Large main room, beautifully appointed. Bathroom perhaps not up to standard of Main room but Ok, View from bath is pretty amazing. Two small pools, one down steep steps, on way to river. Help yourself to a canoe and just paddle for a few mins - amazing. Dinner excelent food, good choice of wine. Does get very busy as obviously popular locally. The two owners could not do enought to m ake you feel welcome and ensure that you saw sights.... in the regin. Only stayed the one night a driving onwards. would love to return and would definitely stay an extra night - Special. Read the other reviews - say the same.
