This guest house, very close to the beach at Plettenberg, was a very pleasant and restful place to stay. Fran was extremely hospitable and gave us lots of advice about the area. We had a suite with our own garden, where our breakfasts were set up for us on warm mornings. Fran and Dermot's staff were delightful The bathroom was a little small but OK for a few days. There are lots of things to do locally and the guest house is well placed to visit Storms River Falls and other popular places at this part of the Garden Route. The highlight for us was a walk around Robberg peninsula, which is only a few minutes drive away.Oh and I musn't forget my husban'd pleasure when he discovered that nearly all of the English Premiership football matches were live on the TV, which helped on the couple of rainy days we experienced !!
The only downside (which is a feature of this part of South Africa, alas) is the guest house is situated on a modern "estate" with mainly white residents and shop owners, which made us rather uncomfortable and made the area feel somewhat soulless. Nevertheless a nice place to stay at Plettenberg and I would recommend it.More
