We really enjoyed our four night stay with Mike and Rene. We had a lovely, comfortable, clean room with fridge and kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. The patio had a wonderful view of the bay which we also looked out on at breakfast. Mike and Rene are lovely, they are so friendly and recommended some great activities and places to eat. We enjoyed chatting to them over the delicious breakfast and loved Rene's photos and stories. A great place to stay.

We enjoyed a great 4 days here. The rooms are spacious and clean with lovely views over the bay and mountains. Mike and Rene were fabulous hosts.. We really enjoyed their company and stories and their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on. At the end of our stay we felt that we had made some new friends in South Africa and were very reluctant to leave.

We were 2 couples touring Garden Route. Plettenberg was our 3rd stop. We stayed for 3 nights in the room above the entrance, definitely the best room at the B&B. Fantastic view over Plettenberg Bay, ocean, and mountains. The room is equipped with a kitchenette and a large bathroom. Spacious, clean, good beds and suffiient with wardrobe space.

We felt at home directly when Mike Slater and his wife (owners) went through the attractions and what to do in Plettenberg and nearby.

Breakfast was served on the patio by the owners and a maid. Fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, etc.

We found few negatives, but will mention: One of the nights (it was warm) we would have liked to have an A/C in the room. The WIFI worked, but was slow.

Thanks for a lovely stay!!!!

Room Tip: Choose the room above the entrance.

We had the budget room at the panoramic blue. Allegedly it's very small, we just found it a good size for 1 night, the bed is huge and there are even a fridge, a microwave and a coffee station, a part for a small wardrobe so with my needs I could stay there easily for a few days

The bathroom is also in a reasonable size and finally this room had a mixer tap rather than separate taps - felt like a jump into the new millennium. Shame only for the fixed shower (i'm starting to think removable showers have not made it to Soaf yet) and the lack of toiletries, represented just by a piece of soap

The reason why you will feel at home are the owners: when we arrived Mike took us through ALL the options in plettenberg bay, we eventually decided for the Robberg peninsula and were very glad for the advice. The owners really try and make you feel welcome, anyway on the morning of departure it really felt like they wanted to get rid of us: soon after breakfast (early at 8,30, they serve until 9 only!) they presented us with the bill and asked whether we had packed already. Check out is at 10,30 so we were going to take it easy but they kept popping by, asking for the keys back, saying we could take our time (but not really?). By the time we left I really felt like at my parents' home when I've been there long enough..

Room Tip: the budget room is very good value for money and you will get an amazing view on the bay

My husband and I spent a night at the Panoramic Blue on our way to go bungee jumping at Bloukrans. It was a wonderful stay. We were upgraded to a slightly larger room and given lots of wonderful suggestions for activities in the city including a good viewpoint for sundowners followed by a delicious dinner.
The breakfast we were served in the morning was filling and great, and our hosts were wonderful company. Highly recommend stopping by for at least a night!

Wonderful B&B with fantastic view of Plet Bay from our window. Mike gave a great overview of things to do and places to eat in the area. We took his advice and had a fantastic meal on right on the water. Both Mike and Rene made you feel welcome and had great stories to tell. Our room was exactly what we needed, cozy and had all the required ammenities and more. Highly recommend for a great stay in Plet!

Mike & Rene are such friendly hosts, and make you feel that you have known them for ages. Mike is very keen to help and advise about places in the area to visit and eat and will not hesitate to lift the phone and book something for you.
Our room was well furnished , light and airy, spotless and had a balcony with a lovely view of Plettenberg Bay. We also had a kitchen area. Breakfasts were delicious, fresh fruit , beautifully presented and anything you wished freshly cooked to order.

Room Tip: Self contained apartment with balcony is good value.
