We have done clam chowder in New England and Nova Scotia, but this is the best ever. They start by stewing hamhocks for the broth before adding the clams and real cream. There is no low fat milk used here. It is decadent, but this is a long process with an excellent result. It is worth coming for this dish alone. As in most of South Africa, the selection of suishi is not very extensive compared to good fish restaurants on either coast of the USA and Canada. That is not what I would recommend here. The owner is very personable and charming. He chatted with us quite a while on a fairly busy Sunday brunch period and explained the process of making the exceptional clam chowder.

A great restaurant with a wonderful menu in the form of a newspaper. The menu tells you all about what is happening in Plett which for a visitor is great. The oysters were out of this world and everyone's fish was cooked to a tee. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. I think the wine list was well thought out with a very good selection across the regions varieties of grape as well as vintages.
A visit for lunch or dinner is a must when in Plett.

Modern stylishly decorated restaurant with great sea views. That just sets the atmosphere with the best to come. Excellent seafood presented so that it is appealing to the eye as well as the stomach. Must complement the service which was attentive but not in your face. Look forward to my next visit.

Great meal in a lovely location. Easy parking in the parking lot infront. Ask for an outside table if available and weather is good. Don't be disappointed if you can't book beforehand. Try on the night and be prepared to wait a bit.
