Old Nick is an old established stop over for travelers going to or from Port Elizabeth. One of the variety of small shops is the Sao Goncalo Kitchen. My wife and I make for this venue for one of their filling breakfasts and freshly baked bread and pastries. It is good value, the staff and service are top class under the supervision of the watchful owner. Make sure to take away a selection of the pastries for the road or to share with your family when ou get home.
When we stay in or near to Plett, we try to have an evening meal as their "specials" are divine. We ate their on Friday 4th October when one of the specials was lamb shank. Prepared the Portuguese way, falling off the bone and worthy of a 5-star, there's lots more to choose from.
Will continue to support this great eatery!
