Stunning scenery, lovely beaches and very peaceful, we spent half a day here but wished we'd taken a picnic and stayed all day

“An amazing hike”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

We hiked around much of the peninsula, took less than 2 hours to do it, and it was beautiful. At the start of the hike you head to the top and get great views of the peninsula and the ocean. Then later the trail takes you to walk along the beach. It was not crawling with people, so at times it was like we had the place to ourselves. I highly recommend doing this hike if you're in the area.

“A hidden treasure. .”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Tombolo a must see. A choice of 3 walks - short, medium and long. The sand was so fine down on the beach. Seals were a little smelly though.

“Heatherlinds”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

This is a very special place and a must see when you are in the area. As locals, we often walk on Robberg and just cannot get enough of this beautiful reserve. Last week we walked it with our daughter and grand children (9 and 13y) all he way to the point and back. It took us 5 hours total with many stops to photograph the magnificent landscapes over the bay with mountains in the back. The botanical diversity is awesome and the aloes were in full bloom. The bird life, seals and just everything is stunning.
