A stunning place in need of repair. The outdoor tables were way to big we had to share ours with another couple who were great fun. The umbrellas were broken

Dear David-JW1

Thank you for your review and visit to Bramon. Regarding tables, we mainly have large groups who like to sit in the vines (6-10). If we are full booked and have 2 people sitiing at a large table and someone arrives (unbooked) we first check with the couple already seated to see if they mind having anothe rjoining there table, if so we would offer this to the walk ins - who do not need to accept. We find generally people have a lot of fun meeting others in this relaxed atmosphere.

Re the umbrellas - they are constantly breaking and being repaired (we repair the umbrellas 1 day every week on maintenance day) and more when we need too. Season has just passed so a lot of hammering has taken place andwe go into maintenance mode now. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised when you return.

Regards

Peter

We had lunch here recently based on a recommendation and that we were passing. So glad we did. Sat under a shade between the vines, so relaxing. Wine of course was excellent (they really only do Sauvignon Blanc, but very well). The food is tapas and was delicious. Don't miss it if you get a chance.

Dear DaveC27

Thank you for for visiting Bramon and for your positive review! With reference to our wines, yes we do specialise in Sauvignon blanc, we make a good Champagne method bubbly from it besides the still wine. However, we also make a Chardonnay MCC (champagne method), a Rose (Shiraz), a Red blnd of Noble varieties (Cabernet, Barbera, Nebiolo and Sangioves) we also make a white blend (Antons Selection) - I think you may have come just out of season after a mad rush (and an export) and we were labelling and bottling to try catch up.

On you next visit please contact me and I will arrange a Cellar tour and wine tasting for you.

Kind Regards

Peter

This is certainly a different type of location to normal, you actually sit amongst the vines.
The wine and tapas offer an excellent choice and are served in a very attractive manner.
Its a nice ride out from Plett and a pleasant experience

We found this place online whilst we were staying in Nature's Valley and looking for somewhere to eat. Really worth popping along, beautiful views, lovely wine and delicious food - staff were all friendly and efficient too. Couldn't help but buy a few bottles for us to enjoy during the rest if our trip!
