“Great place to lunch while driving the garden route!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

My Wife and I stopped here after visiting the Elephant Sanctuary and Monkey Land that is just around the corner.

Luckily it was a beautiful sunny winters day when we stopped for lunch here and we were able to sit outside in the vineyard which was great!

We were recommended Bramon by our hotel and we are glad we came, the menu is made up of tapas and bread so the choice in endless.

All of the food was delicious and I highly recommend, being a vineyard the wine is equally fine and make sure you have at least one glass!

“A little bit of Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

My very favourite place to take visitors is to Bramon Wine estate. I live in Plettenberg Bay, and whenever I have people to stay, I reccommend they lunch at Bramon at least once during their stay with me.

Bramon Wine Estate Restaurant has a lovely ambiance whether sitting among the vines in the summer or in front of a fire in the winter.

They make a delightful little plaited bread which goes so well with any of the many small dishes of tapas that are on the menu.

I had a guest recently who wished to take me out for a meal, and so, of course, I suggested we visit Bramon. I usually go in the Summer when the grape vines are at their best and was a bit apprehensive that it would be dissappointing sitting indoors. I need not have worried. Everything was perfect.

Bramon Wine Estate Restaurant is a really lovely spot where you can enjoy your friends generosity in taking you out and know that it is not going to break their bank.

“Charming and unique - a wonderful place to relax and indulge, friendly and inviting.”

A deep breath on reminds you that you are in the countryside! Incredible to spot elephant across the valley - great hulking grey shadows - this working farm is unique, charming and offers an opportunity to indulge in the senses - well worth stopping in for at least a sip and a tasty nibble.

“Best lunch of our trip to South Africa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2013

The lunch we ate here rated top of all of the lunches we had during our trip to South Africa - and we must have eaten at least 15. We loved the tick box menu to create your own platter of delicious food and are still talking about the camembert and absolutely delicious bread. Even though it was still winter we were there on a very sunny day and ate outside on one of their lovely tables and it felt like summer. The bubbly from Bramon was delicious and complemented our light lunch perfectly. Definitely a fantastic spot for lunch.
