Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

Place was recommended by a local and it didn't disappoint. The burgers were awesome and you gotta try the mac-and-cheese.

We spent the weekend in Jerome so had a few meals to cover during our stay...after grabbing a snack the first day of fried pickle spears, we returned for dinner! It was our lucky night because prime rib was the special...prepared perfectly. We also had the Queso Blanco...I will be back just to eat that (best with the potato chips, but comes with tortilla chips too!). I enjoyed the Avo burger...prepared just as I requested...and did I mentioned the yummy onion rings?!?! We enjoyed breakfast two mornings...the Huevos Rancheros were great, with crispy tortillas...awesome. The service is super friendly, the bar makes great drinks and gets them out quick...and the kitchen is simply amazingly quick and produces high quality meals! Thanks for keeping us full!

What an excellent lunch and it caught us by total surprise. We knew we were going to grab a bite in Jerome but wasn't sure where. We walked passed Mile High and decided to give it a go. After perusing the menu for awhile I noticed the specials board and opted for the prickly pear lime grilled chicken sandwich with roasted jalapenos, cheese, green chili mayo, lettuce and tomato on a pretzel bun. Two things, the sandwich was supposed to have bacon on it but didn't have any and I hate pretzel buns...BUT neither of those mattered. Seriously...this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!! So good. We also had the pork and green chili stew which was incredible as well. Last but not least they had a Black IPA from Mother Road on tap and it was very tasty. Hope to make it back and if you stop in Jerome, which I definitely recommend, give Mile High a stop.

Started with the crab cakes; a great combination of avocados, spinach, and red peppers! Fantastic. Hamburgers were juicy and onion rings were the best we've had in years. Sever was friendly. Will be back when we are in Jerome again

We had a delicious breakfast here before we started the day. The service and food were both excellent. Hard to say much about breakfast, either you get it right or you don't. They get it right!
