Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

“Who knew? Fried Spinach?”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Lunch for two. Perfect setting. The view from the front of the restaurant can't be beat. I ordered the special Turkey burger with cranberry and apple relish, Devine! My husband had a cheeseburger and fries, loved it. I'm always looking for something new to try so the fried spinach caught my eye. Quite interesting. Kind of melts in your mouth like cotton candy. Not something I would get every time, but I'm definitely glad I tried it. We had wonderful service as well. Promptly took our orders and had us out investigating the town in no time at all. We'd got back in a heartbeat!

“Excellent breakfast spot!”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

Interesting decor, friendly staff, large breakfast menu. The food was fresh and delicious. The multigrain bread was especially yummy! There were locals there as well as tourists, always a good sign. We did have to ask for coffee refills. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. We paid much more for the same breakfast in Cottonwood the next morning.

“So cool”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

This is a hidden gem. We drove to Jerome on the recommendation of a pink jeep tour guide and it was worth it. The views are amazing and the food was good. You get massive portions and it is tasty!

“Good smoked salmon and hash browns.”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Ordered the smoked salmon hash brown dish. Delicious! For décor, the restaurant has interesting posters and signs. Parking is easier to find.

“great brunch”
Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

We got a late start out of Sedona, planning to take the afternoon train from Clarkdale. Planning a quick drive through Jerome we got to the Mile High Grill just a few minutes before 11:00. The breakfast menu was listed just until 11:00, but they were great about placing our. brunch order just after the official cutoff. we loved the benedict and the corn beef hash. All four of us enjoyed the locally made preserves Lovely meal and really great service. Nice view from the front tables overlooking the street and valley beyond. We will return.
