Description: The Mile High Grill and Inn sits atop the Jerome hill on Main Street in the old Clinkscale Mercantile building, built in 1899. Opening in 2004, we have made many renovations while trying to keep the old focal points and uniqueness of the original architecture. We aren't hard to find with our beautiful red building and black and white awnings! Feel free to grab some lavender from our herb garden located in the front window box!The Mile High Inn is located above the Grill and accessible through a separate entrance, though all check-ins are done at the Grill. Here you will step back in time with the Victorian styled Inn with high ceilings, original oil paintings and most importantly, the cozy, comfortable beds. It is a great spot to have a romantic getaway. Oh, and if you feel (but can't see) a little something rubbing against your ankles, don't fear! It's only Skipp, the ghost kitty.

“Good hamburger”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Three of us stopped here on a weekday afternoon. It was very crowded so we ate at the bar. My mother and I split a hamburger with onion rings and had more than enough for each of us. Very good hamburger on a delicious bun with plenty of tomato, onion, pickle and lettuce. My husband loved the shoestring-style french fries. The waitress and owner were very friendly and served everyone as quickly as they could.

Great food and best pretzels I have ever had. Got to try them. We also had beef sandwich with horseradish sauce that was also wonderful.

Reviewed June 16, 2013

What an awesome place! We only stopped in for drinks, but their menu has loads of great offerings and I'd love to eat there next time we're in the area and AZ. What a great place, staff super friendly, and the drinks were awesome! A must place to visit!!

“Surprise at a mile high”
Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

Hungry and walking so we stopped at this packed restaurant. Service was pretty quick and we soon had drinks. ordered the best salmon BLT ever and my wife and I shared a deliciour southwest ceasar salad. Excellent all the way around. Our Australian friends ordered a chicken wrap and crab cakes. They have traveled the world and they said this was some of the nest.

“Great value”

Be sure to get the Nacho Mama's mac and cheese - delicious!. A side of that and a salad with salmon were the best value for food our whole trip.
