A challenge to take the drive up the hill, but well worth it! Views wonderful from the outdoor seating. This is the 2nd time there for lunch and food was exceptional...especially the squash soup! Had an wonderful "bacon Bloody Mary" , another must try! Read the history card...great place!

Great atmosphere and food. staff were extremely accommodating when we arrived 15 minutes before it opened for dinner and had a Ghost Tour scheduled. Food and excellent presentation and quality. Best duck I have ever eater (even at pricier restaurants). When my son, who does not usually enjoy this type of experience, commented that if more places like this had food this good he would go with us more often, we knew it was a winner. All 4 in our party were well pleased. Staff kept things moving so we were right on time for our tour, but I would have liked to have taken more time and fully enjoy the experience. Next time.

Dined when The Asylum was all decked out for Halloween-what could be more fun - an old Otis elevator to take you to the 2nd floor restaurant where ghouls and goblins sat on an old settee. The view looking down at the old copper town of Jerome and out to the Red Rocks of Sedona and Mingus mountains at sunset were spectacular. Friendly and fun waitress took orders that were delicious from lamb, pork, beef filet to sea bass and then topped off with delectible desserts. It has a cozy close atmosphere and when the waitress surprised one of us with a trick the whole room shared the laughter. It wasn't only us that enjoyed our meal but some around us took pictures of their plates when served because the presentation was like the view spectacular!

The food was pretty good and the atmosphere was fun but when it comes down to it youre paying for a good meal at the top of the hill in Jerome at its most famous landmark. Dont eat here if youre on a budget and youll just complaign about the price later. But there are better prices and food down below.
