Description: Bobby D's BBQ is located in the Historic English Kitchen Restaurant building, Arizona's oldest operating restaurant building (est. 1899). Stepping through our doors is like stepping back in time. Imagine sitting on an original bar stool from 1899. If only these walls could talk! We are a 90% scratch kitchen, family owned and operated. All of our meats are hand trimmed, rubbed and smoked on premise. We have delicious sandwiches, fresh salads, and entrees. The specialty of the house is our slow-smoked, baby back ribs, they literally fall off the bone. We also feature a full bar, 8 microbrews on draft and a full service outdoor deck with bar.

We stopped here for lunch while walking around Jerome. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. It was large and stacked with lots of delicious pulled pork. The coleslaw was good, not too sweet or heavy on the "creamy." My husband had the BBQ sandwich that comes with coleslaw on top and a side of the baked beans, which were excellent. Service was very good and friendly. We ate inside since it was very windy, but the outdoor patio looked inviting. Would return again when we visit Jerome.

Super yummy bbq, the half rack was soooo much food, and the baked beans were to rollover and die for. Loved the beer served in a jar. Service was efficient and friendly and in the spirit of Jerome. Worth the the 30 mile drive from Sedona, as the town is a hoot.

While walking around Jerome someone from the restaurant was walking around with samples. The sample was delicious so we decided to go for dinner. We weren't disappointed. The food was good and the price was very reasonable. Not to mention the view is one of the best since you are so high on the mountain. Definitely would go back.

OK, so your saying where is Jerome. Well it is about 30 minutes west of Sedona, and high, so it is cooler in the hot weather that the valley. We found this fun and excellent BBQ for a late lunch/early dinner. The person that we met outside the door said that it was the best BBQ in Jerome, but we are now thinking that it is the only BBQ in Jerome. At any rate it was a beautiful sunny day, so we sat out on the great porch area. We both ordered the half St. Louis style ribs, with two sides for $13.95. Everything was excellent, as was the service.

We visited Jerome for a day trip. We walked around the town, sussed out the restaurants and decided on Bobby D's. We weren't disappointed. We sat outside and had a lovely view of the mountains and the people in the street! Husband had the Mushroom Swiss Burger and said it was the best he'd had in a LONG time. I had a pepper veggie meal and it was equally delicious. There were several sauces on the table to choose from which was nice too. The smoker is right below the deck so you can peek at what is going on. Our waitress, Beth, was super nice and very friendly and helpful. She suggested the Nimbus Monkeyshine beer to hubby and he loved it. I had a delicious Peach iced tea. YUM.
