We stayed in Jerome at the Ghost City Inn, and right away we could tell that they value their guests! We checked in and were shown to our room. There were cookies and an excellent breakfast. Very clean and comfortable with a great view. Jerome is a charming, spooky little town with many art shops and a fascinating history. We had a great dinner at a local eatery, and then headed back to enjoy our balcony view. Yes, there were bumps in the night. That's one thing that definitely can't be controlled, right?

Room Tip: Get a balcony room for the view.

Just came back from a 1 night stay in Jerome and it wouldn't have been the same without the Ghost City Inn! We were given a very warm welcome and showed to our room on the second floor; the "Northern Room". We originally wanted to book the "Cleopatra Room" but it was booked when we called - everything happens for a reason! I am 100% sure that the "Northern Room" is the best room in the house! We're from Canada so it was truly reminiscent of being "up north" at the cottage back home. The room was fun, the bed was VERY comfortable (and ...tall!), the bathroom updated and very clean! We had a walkout onto the second floor balcony from which you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the Verde Valley and the awe inspiring terraced red rocks of Sedona. And if you look closely you can even see the snow capped mountain top of Humphrey's Peak north of Flagstaff. Just remarkable! Here's a little secret: If you're staying in the "Northern Room" you can lay in bed with the balcony door open and see the view I described above ... IN BED! In the morning we were met with a delicious home made breakfast, fruit and yogurt, orange juice and great coffee! Our stay was perfect and we can't wait to come back! If you're staying in Jerome,Ghost City Inn is the place to stay!

Room Tip: Definitely book a second floor room to take advantage of the great view! As I mentioned above, the "Northern Room" is amazing! View of the Verde Valley from bed...can't get better than that!

The Ghost City Inn really is a unique property. The view from the balcony off our small room was fantastic - overlooking the Verde Valley. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful and the cookies were delish! The staff seemed friendly enough and our hostess was pleasant. The reason for a very good instead of an excellent rating is that unfortunately, we were not able to flush our toilet. Now, we're not stupid individuals, but this was a weird contraption. Not a push button, not a pull down string, but a rotating toilet flushing devise that kept spinning around. Our hostess said she'd try to fix it and ooh, this might be the resident ghost, but more likely, her husband's proclivity for odd bathroom fixtures. There was a "trick" to this which I guess we're too dense to figure out so no, the toilet did not flush that night or in the morning, despite her instructions. Needless to say, this put a damper on our entire visit. Didn't see our hostess in the morning to say anything. Shame about this. Really liked the Inn. So for future visits by us or other toilet flushing non-techies, please put in a regular flushing device. So glad that we didn't leave any surprises, but then we'd blame it on the ghost!

Best host ever she was so warm and friendly. We really felt like we were home. Fantastic view and the room was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and the owner visited with us while we ate. We heard alot of strange noises through the night even knocks on our window with no one around ghosts? Sure felt like it. Overall this quickly became our favorite little getaway place and we will be back. We stayed at the cleopatra room.

The view from the Ghost City in is to die for.
Jerome is a great it the town to visit and the ghost city Inn is the place to stay when visiting!

No ghost sightings in our room, but it was a great stay nonetheless.

Jackie is a perfect host who makes a fantastic breakfast!
