After a long day of travel, Mesa Restaurant served us a wonderful Italian meal. The linguine with clam sauce has a good 3/4c of clams and the fettuccini alfredo - well, my husband used extra bread to clean his plate!
The restaurant isn't large and appears to share bar and kitchen with the "Mesa Grill" next door. During our visit, the restaurant was filled to capacity most of the time. Should you want a steak, it's on the menu for the Grill, but I suspect that it would gladly appear at your table for the meat lover in the group.
The only "con" was the wait staff. It was apparent that the room was split between waitresses. While one side got great service, we watched several tables on the other side wait and wait to have their orders taken while seeing guests that had arrived after they had already being served their drinks and salads.
Nevertheless, we will definitely be returning to Mesa Restaurant in the future.
