First, let's start with the only blemish...we were in a King suite on the 2nd of 3 floors. First two nights were peaceful. 3rd night, a wedding party moved in on the 3rd floor and the noise from the room above us was very aggravating, as we heard every little footstep and plenty of voices until 3:30 AM. Wedding party moved out after this one night. Yes, we should have alerted the front desk, but we didn't. Bottom line is that the floors are not well insulated. If we return for another visit, and we do want to, we'll request a 3rd floor room.
OK...other than the noise from the floor above, this was a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend a suite, though the cost is a little more. Rooms were very clean and well maintained, with just a little carpet wear and tear. Otherwise, the furniture and fully furnished kitchen were top-notch. Bed was very comfortable. Free morning breakfasts at the hotel/golf course restaurant were excellent. We dined there one evening and the food was outstanding.
Front desk service was very accommodating, friendly, and each employee had all the information we needed when we asked questions. We wanted to play the golf course there but it was closed for 10 days of maintenance. Front desk personnel recommended a few other courses in Green Valley as good options.
We do plan on returning again, provided we get a King Suite room on the 3rd floor. Maintenance personnel also advised that the air conditioning is much quieter on the 3rd floor than for units on the 1st two floors. We'll look forward to that, too.

Room Tip: 3rd floor suites are best. Suites on lower floors are fine, if the room directly above is unoccupie...

GolfCouple88,
We appreciate you taking the time to review your recent stay with us at the Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort. I am sorry to hear that there were some noisy guests in the room above you. I encourage you to always report any challenges that you ever encounter at any hotel and at least give them a chance to resolve the issue. If we would have known about the noisy wedding guest we would have required them to keep it down. It is great to hear that our friendly front desk employees always had the answers to your questions. We have an excellent team at the Wyndham Canoa Ranch and enjoy working at our resort. We hope that you will come back and see us again soon.

Brian Wright

I spend a lot of time in hotels and this was a great get away with my wife. The friendly staff offered and we accepted a room upgrade and was the best decision of our trip. The room was above expectations and very clean and great view of the golf course. They were very helpful with directions and there was always a smile when we met the staff. This was our first time here, but the staff made you feel like you are a regular. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet which was part of the package was very good. We are staying here again next year.

We had a destination wedding at Agua Linda Farm in Amado and all of our 100 guests stayed at the Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort. Brian Wright was great about making sure we were all in the same building or buildings next to each other; we all got free breakfast at the Grill on the Green every morning we were there; the hotel spa provided fantastic services, with manis and pedis for all the bridesmaids; and we held our rehearsal dinner on the patio by the pool. The rooms were so spacious, clean, and comfortable and afforded a fantastic view. All of our guests were so impressed, we heard nothing but compliments! And Danielle at the front desk was fantastic. Thank you for making our experience so great!

Room Tip: Get a suite, it's worth the upgrade!

From check-in to check-out a very helpful and friendly staff. Had our wedding across the street at the golf course. Well worth the money spent. We heard from several of our wedding guests that reserved rooms that they would love to come back for a weekend get away.

What a difference a year makes! Our group of 30 stays here every May for 4 nights. This year brought many unwelcome changes. First, the breakfast was atrocious, cold eggs, overcooked sausage, undercooked bacon, no milk for cereal the first 2 days, tasteless coffee and the surliest waitress I've run into in awhile. No wait, not a waitress, all she did was bus the tables and inform us that the complimentary breakfast did not include tip? Tip for what? Last year there was an omelet chef preparing eggs to order. This year it was watery, cold scrambled eggs. As for the hotel, we had trouble getting someone to answer the phone at the front desk. The ice machine never worked in our building, and 2 of 3 times we requested the outdoor fireplace be lit no one came to do so. The linens were frayed, and the sheets were thin. Bathroom supplies were not replaced until the 3rd day. The luggage cart (1 per building) disappeared the day we left causing us to walk down 3 flights numerous times to pack up as the elevator is the slowest on the planet. The automatic electric doors at the entrance of the building worked some of the time. No one was at the desk when we tried to check out. The pool area was nice. Dinner at the restaurant did not suck but they only have 2 beers on tap.

Gwandac,
I am sorry to hear that your recent stay didn't meet your expectations. I have shared your comments with our entire team and also with the management at the Grill on the Green. I am pleased to let you know that we will be updating all of our rooms later this summer. I would also appreciate if you can provide me with some more details about some of the challenges you experienced with us so that I am able to help educate the individual employees that were involved. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our resort and I appreciate your insight. Please give me a call at 520-382-0460 or email me at Brian.wright@canoaranchresort.com so we can discuss the details of your stay.

njmphoenix,
I am very disappointed to hear that we did not meet your expectations. I know that if you would have stayed in one of our suites you would have been pleased with your accomodations. I agree that the standard rooms need to be updated. We will be upgrading our beds and TV's this summer. I hope that you will come back next year to see our new rooms.
