By far the BEST hotel experience in the West Valley. Extremely clean and very convienent. You can tell that Travis Kuhlman and his staff take great pride in their property. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the PHX area.

Stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites at Glendale-Westgate for 3 nights in December to attend the Springsteen concert. There was a slight snag with the reservation when I checked in but that was quickly resolved (the reservation had combined my aunt's & my names instead of having them separate). What a beautiful hotel this is. The room was clean & the beds very comfortable. The staff here, from reception to kitchen staff to housekeeping, could not have been friendlier and more helpful (especially the gentleman working at reception after the concert, when I barely had a voice left to ask for a wake-up call the next morning!!!).

Having stayed in hotels where the "free" breakfast in the morning amounted to coffee and muffins, I have to say the breakfast here was outstanding. If you couldn't find something to eat here, you're just way too picky! Each morning there was a "hot" selection with eggs, sausage, hash browns etc. There was also cereal, a waffle station and oatmeal. On top of that, they offered muffins, bagels, English muffins, bread for toast, fresh fruit. Coffee/tea and juices were also on tap. There was a lovely area to sit and read or have breakfast in, with numerous tables, chairs, TV and fireplace (boasting the seasonal Christmas stockings).

The hotel itself is situated right next door to a new Tangers Outlet. A quick walk (or leisurely stroll) across the parking lot & you are right there. The hotel is also a very short distance from Westgate City Centre and Jobing.com arena. As the Hampton doesn't have a restaurant on property, the short walk over to Westgate provided us with many restaurant options.

While searching for hotels to stay at to attend the concert, I kept hearing how this area is so out of the way & to stay in Phoenix etc. Well, the day after the concert, I had to be up early for a tour to the Grand Canyon. Within 15 minutes of Bruce leaving the stage, I was back in my room, changed & snuggled in for the night. If I were to attend another event at Jobing.com, I would absolutely book at Hampton Inn again.

Newer property ...not much attention for Hilton honors gold ...not even cookies and water ..very quiet ...nice about cleaning our room upon request. Convenient to 101. Congested but not as bad as around the Hampton a little further north. Noise from 101 not bothersome at all ..lovely sunset views looking to the west over 101

it's expensive.

With that being said, it is the perfect location for an event a Jobing.com arena or Phoenix Stadium.

The newly-opened Tanger Outlets is right next door for outlet shopping. And Westgate has a number of dining and drinking options.

And even though it was expensive, the room was fantastic.

Would I stay there again? Probably. But it hurts the wallet a little.

We selected this hotel based on other reviews and found that this was a wonderful value for the money. The pre-tax rate was $119/night; and for this rate, the value was excellent. We travel quite a bit, both business and personal, and have spent considerably more while receiving considerably less.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast each day had great hours, from 6 to 10, suiting early risers and also accommodating sleep-ins. The food was good and certainly better than we have had at most chains.

A new outlet mall recently opened next to the location with over 100 stores (Tanger Outlet) and this hotel is a great location for a shopping weekend. Given the proximity to the stadium, there are several restaurant options available, all an easy walk from the hotel. We were not here on a game weekend so cannot comment on how congested traffic might be on game day but you may want to consider that the Arizona Cardinals play at a stadium within a block of the property - if you come for a football game, the location cannot be beat....otherwise, game day traffic may be a consideration.

Overall, we were very happy with the hotel in terms of cost, location, rooms, and value; and will most likely stay here again when we return to Phoenix
