We spent three nights at the hotel while at spring training. It's well located with the ball parks and has a great entertainment complex with lots of restaurants and an AMC theater right there. That's all walkable from the hotel.

We really appreciated and enjoyed all the seating areas throughout the hotel lobby, bar, pool and outside atrium.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. This was a top notch experience.

There's nothing to fault about the Renaissance Glendale for families and others visiting the nearby Cactus League ballparks. Business travelers to Glenale or the west side of the Phoenix area will also be pleased. Rooms are spacious and well designed and cared for. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is pleasant with outdoor seating and the food is good (not gourmet). As a bonus, the property is adjacent to a food and entertainment complex with restaurants, bars and a multiplex cinema (w/ IMAX) a short walk away. It's not inexpensive, but good value nonetheless.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel - the first time I had a great room overlooking the pool - second and third time I was in the same room - a handicapped room even though I am not handicapped with a terrible view of the roof - there was long black hair on the bathroom floor which shows a lack of detail to cleanliness - the elevators were dirty and needed a thorough cleaning and the walls outside of the elevator where extremely dirty - one of the beds in the room had a stain on the white duvet cover - other than that the hotel is great and would stay again.

Room tip: Ask for a high floor overlooking the pool or a high floor overlooking the stadium - the fourth floor overlooks the room facing south - not a good selection.

Perfect location, next to Cardinals & Coyote stadiums, Westgate Center (lots of restaurants & AMC theatre) & Tangier Outlet mall. We requested & received 2 connecting rooms. Lobby is massive and beautiful. Rooms are spacious, clean & well appointed. Bathroom is good size . Beds are very comfortable. Pool is large with lots of lounge chairs, cabanas, & umbrellas. Gift shop serves Starbucks with free refills on all drinks for 24 hour period if you return w/cup. Food poolside & in restaurant was very tasty but service is VERY slow. Only issue was we maid cleaning room next door to leave fresh towels when we were leaving for dinner & she didn't, necessitating 3 calls to Front Desk & over an hour wait to get towels @ 11:00 at night. Front Desk said delay was because only 1 person on......felt sorry for guy when he finally arrived as he looked stressed & haggard! Why would a 350+ room hotel only have 1 person available for such requests? Will definitely stay here when retuning for Dodger Spring Trainng!

Checked in at 4 and no rooms available. Check in time was posted as 4. They told us they would call our cell phone. 2 hours later nothing so my husband went to check. They had not called us and rooms were ready. When this hotel gets busy they could care less about customers. We also experienced other problems and asked to talk to a manager and waited in the wait are after check out for 20 minutes. No manager ever showed up. The front desk clerk was rude an really could care less.

So disappointed after many wonderful stays at this hotel. Just make sure you hit it at the right time and when they are not busy or you will live to regret it. We ended up spending an additional $100 in the bar waiting for our room! Still to this day a Manager has not attempted to speak with me. And I forgot to mention we are Platinum elite members.
