They only offer the candy-making tours on weekdays or I'm sure this would have had a higher rating. The candy is good, however, and isn't badly priced, considering it's made locally.

We've been here several times. It is fun to see how the candy is made. They'll even give you a free sample! Around Easter they have a lot of cute stuff!fun for a short family outing.

I experienced this confection over 30 years ago when I worked at a local hospital. One of the doctors gave the staff a box of the French Mint truffles and the flavor stayed with me for all those years. I was delighted to find them and always make a stop to the factory whenever I am visiting the area. It's not a fancy place, but the chocolate is good. Grab some of the other flavored truffles to accompany a good glass of port!

Came here with a 6yo and 4yo. It was pretty neat to see them making some of the candy. my 4yo got a little bored/impatient. At the end of the short tour we opted to do the candy tasting ($5)vs the chocolate pizza making ($10). The kids got to wrap their own chocolates and got a little smores marshmallow and a French mint in their goody bag. Our guide was awesome and gave me & grandma a couple French mint's for the road ;) Take home prices of the candy was reasonable, and if you did the tasting or pizza making you also got a coupon which cut some cost as well. Overall, worth the trip.

This tour was fantastic for kids. For free we were toured through the factory and got to see how a few things were made. We got a sample of a few different chocolates to try: toffee, chocolate covered marshmallow, white chocolate nut, and taffy. The guide was good but could have been a bit louder. For $10 each anyone could make a chocolate pizza to take home. This was a hit with the kids! It had lots of candy and white chocolate topping! We bought a few different chocolates to try as well, and all of them were amazingly smooth and delicious! It's definitely worth the 30mins!
