Peanuts on the floor, good food, good drinks, and the waiters & waitresses have to line dance every so often. I enjoy the prime rib and ribeye steaks. Prices are inline for this type of chain restaurant. The Service is usually good and speedy.

As the name implies, the restaurant has a western theme. The interior has a lot of wood, which is not sound absorbing … as the restaurant fills up, the noise level will increase dramatically. Prior to 5pm you can easily get a table, but after 5, the 'Roadhouse' fills up quickly.
There is a bottomless bucket of peanuts in their shells on the table …the shells can go in the empty bucket on the table … or … on the floor. The floor gets quite crunchy as the day progresses.
The 'homemade' rolls are fantastic. Most dinners come with '2 sides' … one can be a salad, which is very good … their honey mustard dressing is excellent. Their 'Dallas Filets' are consistently good … unless you want it 'well done' … they 'butterfly' the filet (cut in half lengthwise and open it up like a book, so the center is cooked) … and the result can be anywhere from tender … to leather. If your diet has a salt restriction, you may want to request your order to be "lightly seasoned".
Let them know if someone in your group is having a birthday. They drag out a saddle mounted on a sawhorse and the birthday person will be requested to sit on it, while everyone sings a loud "Happy Birthday" … lots of fun … as long as you're not the one in the saddle!
As a side note ... the address in on "Gilbert Road" ... this review has it as "Gilber Road" (the 't' is missing.
