We had a really good meal and service was perfect. We both had the spaghetti and meat balls.. Sat at the bar to enjoy the owner making pizza, that was a trip. He didn't seem to happy with the task.. however his wife sitting at the other end of the bar may have been irritating him... (very unprofessional for owner, or any employee for that matter, to be sitting at the bar during biz hours is my thinking). Knowing a large number of folks have watched "Restaurant Impossible" you'd think the owners would have a better sense of themselves on customer perception.

The son was our waiter, did a perfect job in being very personable along with his great customer service skills. Bread was fantastic with nice touch in presented in a bowl with perfect amount of dipping olive oil drizzled over it.

We will return.. if not just for the good food, internal drama is a plus!

After seeing the restaurant makover on 'Restaurant Impossible', we decided to go back to this place after a long absence. The interior design / makeover was successful. The food seems to have taken a marked improvement. The veal dishes are quite good. If there is any complaint, it would be that the gentleman and lady owners are not really very friendly. But -- who cares -- the waiters were good and they always smiled. The prices might be a bit high for what this is -- but no real complaint.

It's hard to find good food in Fountain Hills, but we visited Sapori D'Italia Saturday evening. There were seven of us for a family dinner. The restaurant wasn't too busy for a Saturday night, but that's typical for Fountain Hills when it's hot outside. The atmosphere was very nice, service was good and the food was good as well. We had spaghetti bolognese, pizza, seafood, and the tenderloin feature. Overall it was a nice meal and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

Great night on the patio. Started with pizzas which were excellent. I had the chicken osso buco which was even better. It was slow cooked chicken legs over wild mushroom risotto. One had veal marsala which was also very good. Others had spaghetti and meatballs which was good but not great. overall great night

I wanted to see the Restaurant Impossible makeover. It is bright & attractive, now. I had been before the makeover & it was dark & gloomy. We were seated on the patio where the plates & glasses were stacked on a table with flies walking all over them. I ordered the chicken parmesan which was just fair. My son had the spaghetti & meatballs which were absolutely tasteless. I'm afraid that the cook didn't learn a thing from Chef Robert. Hostess was not very friendly & the service was fair. Way too expensive for food that wasn't very good. We will not be back.
