We hosted 5 couples for a weekend retreat. The rooms were spectacular and the service for our meeting was superb. I was using a cardboard box to support the projector for our presentation. Our host Ryan insisted that he had the perfect projector stand and brought us a circular plate on a short pedestal (guessing it was normally used for wedding cakes). It WAS the perfect projector stand and added to the elegance of the living room feel that had been created for us in the Sonoran View Room at our request. I cannot say enough about the terrific attitude of everyone at CopperWynd. Thanks for a great event!

We live in a neighboring city and pick a different Phoenix-area hotel each year for a one-night anniversary getaway from our kids. However, we may be returning to this one every year from now on, and for more than one night.

The whole experience was peaceful and relaxing. Check in was extremely fast, and no one was hassling us to take our bags (though the service is available), park our car, or buy anything extra. There are only 30 rooms, so we got to park very close to ours. The doors all face the mountainside to the west, and the windows and and balconies all face east, overlooking some foothills, the town of Fountain Hills, the valleys of the Verde and Salt rivers, Four Peaks, and other mountain ranges. All the rooms have elevated balconies with nice patio furniture. The room was perfect: large, flat-screen tv on the wall in front of a very comfy bed, desk, another table and chairs indoors, fireplace, huge bathroom, oversized tub, tile/glass shower, separate toilet room, fridge, coffee, large closet, dresser and end tables with lots of drawers, soft robes, cool towels with little puffy squares all over them, and great bath products (no lotion, though). They definitely pay attention to the details, like large glasses, cloth-like napkins, an abundance of towels and shampoo, wooden hangers, etc.

We booked through their website and got a special that included food credit (also good for their spa, which we did not visit). Dinner at their Alchemy restaurant was excellent. We walked around the grounds afterward, and they are very nice with sitting areas, large pool, adult lap pool, and a jacuzzi that is a little tucked-away with a waterfall flowing into it. The gym was quite large with a lot of equipment, tv's, and classes. There is also a professional-quality tennis club on-site. Next time, we will definitely schedule some time on of those courts. We will also hike some of the nearby trails.

I didn't hear a sound from another guest all night--just a few coyotes. We brought fruit and bagels for breakfast on the balcony in the morning. It was SO quiet! We listened to birds chirp and watched a cactus wren eat from the saguaro below us. Also saw a family of quail running along--two parents and ten tiny kids.

The only negative I can think of is that the maid tried to service our room at 9 am when we were scheduled to check out at noon.

We'll be back!

Room Tip: No breakfast; bring your own, or there are some excellent breakfast choice in Fountain Hills.

Went to CopperWynd Resort and Club with a group of girlfriends and had a wonderful time. We were treated extremely well and the resort was very relaxing. The rooms were very large (which helps when you have 4 girls and 4 suitcases) and the views were spectacular. Had a massage from the spa which was very relaxing and the facilities were in excellent. Try out the Tennis courts while there and take in plenty of time at the pool.

We recently stayed at CopperWynd and really enjoyed our experience. We had two great rooms with stunning views on the balcony where we ate breakfast each day. The rooms had fridges so we picked up some healthy food at the safeway 5 minutes away as well as happy hour treats. The staff at CopperWynd were wonderful and so helpful. Kyle, Mayra and the rest of the staff went out of their way to address all our requests for information. The spa was excellent. We had massages while we were there and they were well done. One of advantages of the property is that you only need to walk outside to find a trail to take you to incredible hiking in the mountains. Just loved that!!!! The last night we ate dinner at Alchemy. The food was beautifully prepared and plentiful and again the view was spectacular. The pool area was also a treat. The only critique we can make it that at times the front desk was not attended as the person was assisting another guest at some other location. As far as the distance to Scottsdale, it is a quick 15 minute drive that is worth the scenery and quiet calm of the resort. We will be back..... Thank you.

Gorgeous views from our balcony. Excellent gym, spa, pools, pool bar, etc. We especially loved the fitness classes (Yoga, Pilates, Yogalates, Zumba, etc.). The location was perfect - not too far from Phoenix/Scottsdale and downtown Fountain Hills had everything we neeeded. Very quiet and peaceful during our stay. We heard coyotes and a wolf howl, saw 2 deer and a large Hawk... all right from our balcony!

We had an AMAZING time; the staff was sincere, thoughtful and so very helpful - great local recommendations from a drive into the mountains to casual dining. Alchemy restaurant has impeccable service, incredible views and each meal was well prepared and inventive, with nice portions. The room was spacious, bathroom excellent and the main facilities are truly top notch - top-tier while being friendly and approachable. Grounds are well maintained and enhance the quiet, relaxing environment. There is no shortage of luxury hotels in the area; this one is pleasantly off the beaten path, relaxing and original - not another luxury chain, but a cove of relaxation and enjoyment. We look forward to our third stay.
