When I arrived I noticed a train line on the same side of the building where my room was. I asked for a room on the other side of the building and was told there was none available....even though my car was the only one in the parking lot. The man reassured me that "only 2 trains" came by and that I "would not here them". As soon as went into the room I heard the horn of a passing train. That was early in the day so I just hoped that there would not be any trains going through at night. So much for "hope". Train horns blew at 11:16pm, 11:23pm, 12:19am, 12:39am, 1:18am and 1:46am. I had turned off the heat earlier in the evening because the fan is ridiculously loud (preferred to be cold than deaf) but turned it back on to try to block out the train noise. I had to jam tissues in my ears to mute the sound of the heater fan. I had reservations for two nights but will not stay for the second night. The cancellation policy says "There will be no credit or refund for early departures, cancellations, no shows, or changes in your reservation for any reason. Guests will not receive any refund or credit."....so I will not get a refund for the second night. The exterior doors do not lock, so anyone could wander into the building. The fire extinguisher outside of my room was missing. The smoke detector in the entrance stairwell was missing. The continental breakfast did not appear appetizing. My room did not look like the picture of the "standard guest room" shown online. As noted, by another guest, there is still a gaping hole over the front desk.On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, but I had to have the linen changed because of obvious stains all over the sheet. The water was hot with good pressure. The refrigerator worked fine.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the train line.

Reservation made on website correct. Large property with inside corridors. It can be a long way to room if you have a lot of luggage. Very few rooms occupied. Several burned out bulbs in the corridors. New manager seems to try and fill the rooms near the exits first to minimize the distance to the rooms. This is fine if your neighbors are quite; ours were not. Loud HVAC unit covered most of the noise. Quieter after one individual left at 2AM. Bed is very firm and springy. Small room, cramped bathroom, and odd placement of bed made it worse. Room was clean. Very small countertop refrig (no freezer placed on the floor. No microwave. Cable TV, but no channel guide. Oddly; among these isssues the bathroom had a real granite countertop. Good Wifi. Breakfast of watered down OJ, coffee, bread for toast, some pastry and cold cereal and milk. Very little of each, but I think only three or four rooms were occupied. There were two large round tables with chairs near the small one holding the breakfast. Small microwave on the other side of the large lobby. Ice machine not functional.

There is a gaping hole in the reception area ceiling. My room had a dysfunctional smoke alarm that kept beeping. The worker could not fix it so had to move to another room. The room to which I was connected had a smoker in it and it was hard to breathe with the cigarette smoke coming into the room through the adjoining door. Continental breakfast was a small table in the lobby, no place to sit. It had a few pieces of bread, some coffee, and orange juice that was mostly water. We went next door to the Burger King to eat.

We stayed there for one night this week. Check in staff was very friendly and the room was great. Nice and spacious. Overall clean, except for underneath the bed there was some dust there. Internet worked great.
Breakfast was ok. We got there 25 minutes before closing, even though the Front desk agent sits right across from the little breakfast bar, she had to be made aware that some things were low or out. She did replenish some items, although very little.
The hotel is pet friendly and that was the main reason we chose this hotel. There is a nightly charge of $10 per pet. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a night in a nice and comfortable room.
Btw, room 107 still has the cigarette burn on the bathtub, but the room did not smell like smoke at all and the Internet worked fine.

Check in/out excellent. Our room, 103 is clean, modestly furnished and a great price. The bathroom complex is tiny, but usable. There is a round table and chairs, a king bed, nt stds, a 4 drawer dresser, TV and fridge. AC works well, but loud. Room a bit small and worn. Great operators. Most of the guest arrived late, after 7pm and a few left quite early starting 4:30 am. Continential breakfast is included! Priced like, but way better than a Motel 6. Rating based on an overnight stay only

Burger King is across a vacant lot.

Room Tip: Likely, you will get what you need from the owners
