I don't like there bread. It all taste like they have a sour dough starter. Haven't been in some time so maybe they got better but I won't go back.

Family owned and operated bread bakery. The smell when you walk through the doors will knock you on your bottom. The taste of the bread is as good as the smell. Fantastic.

I purchased whole wheat sourdough, regular sourdough, a peanut butter cookie, and four carmel brownies. The breads were OK and the cookie was delicious. Sorry to say that the brownies were like hard stale bricks! They told me that they were freshly baked, but they tasted like they were a few days old. Working in the food industry myself, I know that most bakeries would not sell these brownies. I was also disappointed to see small bugs flying around in the case that had the brownies and the danish pastries.

In general prices were high. Each brownie cost $2.25 or $2.50, and the one cookie cost $3.00. For these prices I would expect excellent bakery products.

We didn't eat at the restaurant, but bot a loaf of marble rye and had it sliced.
Toasted or not this loaf has no flavor of rye or any thing else. There were minute flakes of some kind of seeds. Short on salt for sure, maybe shorting, but not like we have come to expect of any rye. Don't waste your money.

Came across this place by chance, and were pleasantly surprised.
Friendly service and amazing choice. The bread was delicious and the sarnies well worth stopping for.
An ideal place to take a moment.. Highly recommend it.
