If you are on your way up to Clarkdale or Jerome, make the trip more worth while with a stop in "downtown" Cottonwood at Old Town Cafe. It's small with about 8 tables inside and also offers about 3 tables on the sidewalk out front. We had the smoked turkey pannini which was very large and perfectly cooked. It came with a small side of mixed greens with a balsamic vinigrette. The display case of desserts, all homemade were yummy looking. The prices are very reasonable and everything was fresh.

We stopped here because of a trip advisor review and it was great. Open for breakfast and lunch. All the food was great but the almond crossants were as good as we had heard and we also bought day old to take on the Verde Canyon Railroad. They were better than the Chocolate and that is saying alot. By all means, go out of your way to stop here.
