“A hidden jewel!”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

My husband and I went to Abbie's at the suggestion of our server at Page Springs Winery. This charming restaurant was filled with outstanding food, excellent service and personal attention from the Chef and her staff. Don't miss the wild mushroom crepes or crab cakes. They were the best starters we have ever had.
My husband had the scallops with veal reduction and I had the salmon. Both were perfectly prepared. We finished with the flour-less chocolate cake and left on cloud 9. We will certainly make our way back to Abbie's soon. You won't be disappointed if you try this treasure.

“Home Sweet Home!”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

The title of my review may seem a little odd, but once you go there you will understand. You really feel right at home from the moment you walk in. And most likely you will be greeted by Abbie herself. The restaurant is in a little house right on Main Street and you might miss it if you weren't paying attention. It was a cool night, but it was cozy and warm inside.

Andy, our server brought us in to the back dining room and we picked a table in the corner so we watch the goings on. Everything on the menu looked wonderful, so choosing was difficult. I settled on the Foie Gras appetizer and Pam went for the soup. While we waited for our appetizers, Andy brought us out a plate with a scoop of Goat and Cream Cheese blended with Sun Dried Tomatoes on top of house made Pesto. Served with crisp crostini and some delightful olives.

The Foie was cooked perfectly on crisp toasts and the soup, a Roasted Pepper and Tomato concoction with house made Parmesan Crisps was most excellent.

I had the Duck with Diver Scallops, both cooked to perfection. Along side were some heavenly Scallop Potatoes and Swiss Chard. Pam had the Salmon and the portion was very generous! It was served over an expertly cooked savory blend of vegetables. I could have made a meal on those alone!

Should mention the all Arizona Wine list. we had a fruity white blend from Stronghold Vineyards. Andy knows his wines and can guide you to the right one!

Sadly...we were too full to sample one of desserts which are on display as you enter the restaurant...Next we will have dessert first!

The service was friendly, informative and not rushed. We were there for nearly two hours and it seemed to fly by too quickly. There were plenty of locals in the house and Abbie was in and out of the kitchen visiting with her guests. If you want a great home cooked meal...this is the place.

“Great food in a cozy setting”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Abbie's had been open for some time before we finally got in to try it. Well worth the wait, though we should have been here sooner! We came for our anniversary dinner and both food and service were superb. It was back in August 2013 so I don't remember exactly what we had, but it was all top-notch. Andy was an excellent server and very knowledgable.

I hope we can get back there before our next anniversary!

“Would not go anywhere else in Cottonwood”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

We had been to Cottonwood several times but asked a local for a dinner place. She told us about Abbie's, and we were not disappointed! Andy was amazing and helped us settle on the mushroom crepe, crab cakes, onion and goat cheese tarte, roasted pepper soup, salad, salmon, duck, and a specially created vegetarian meal. It was an experience to remember! The food was amazing, the ambiance and intimacy were more than you can ask for, and it was an amazing time. We also had a lemon pound cake that was to die for. We would come every time we go to Cottonwood!

AZ wines only and they rock. Food and service excellent. Best apple pie I've ever had. Thank you Andy, Alia and Abbie for a beautiful evening...
