My husband and I had the best meal at Abbie's last week. It rivaled any meal we have ever had - it was that good! It seemed incongruous that food this good would be found in Old Town Cottonwood, in a small house on Main Street. Really? But don't let any of that fool you - try Abbie's, its worth every penny.
We were greeted out front and were able to select any seat in the house but since it was nice we sat at a romantic table for 2 outside. Andy brought us bread that came with a goat & cream cheese spread with sun dried tomatoes (who needs butter - YUM). My husband had lamb chops that were cooked perfectly & melted in your mouth. I had the duck breast with scallops - so good! The sides were fingerling potatoes and grilled artichoke - wasn't anything left on our plates! For desert we split the grilled pound cake - OMG, you gotta have this. WOW. So light and delicious, the char on the pound cake is genius. Abbie came out of the kitchen several times to see how we were enjoying our meal and tell us the story of how the grilled pound cake came to be. Quite a crew of characters! Open Wed-Sat - Dinner only.
If you are in the area, definitely go to Abbie's for a wonderful dining experience!
