“Excellent Pizza”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

It's an hour drive from New River to Cottonwood. I'll make that drive again for a Pizza at the Vinyard Bistro. There isn't a pizza to compare in Phoenix. We had dinner salads while waiting for the pie...they too were excellent. Fresh, crisp veggies and lots of them with a fine Ranch dressing. Ashley was our server...very friendly and efficient. If you just stop in for a drink to see their bar it would be a worth while visit.

“Been here done that”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Customer service (mean waitress who was rude to both my daughter and I--after waiting 45" for bruschetta mid-afternoon, place nearly empty) we asked her gently if we were going to get our food soon. She smarmily replied that "this wasn't a fast food place" and walked away...we were shocked. Asked for our bill (two glasses of wine, which she didn't ever ask if we wanted refills of). She was the worst server I've ever encountered. We drove down from Flagstaff for a short vacation in Jerome, a celebration to end my cancer tx. I will never, ever, come back again.

The first time I stopped here my husband and I were bothered by a drunk from the bar, again, mid-afternoon. It's a redneck dump trying to be trendy.

“The best potato and broccoli soup”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

YUMMY the soup here is the best, the bar is a sight to see. It was imported from singapore and is a monster one of the biggest bars you will ever see. It's all teak wood.

“Missed opportunity”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

Oh, this COULD be such a lovely dining experience. The sandwiches & pizzas we've tried have been good enough but nothing special. The atmosphere is very nearly wonderful, with a gorgeous antique bar, three private booths, a few small tables... but odd empty spaces toward the front & the back, a strange "cold" feeling to the place ~ & it feels uncared for: many chairs in disrepair, yuck on the floors, tables rocky, random furniture & papers scattered & out of place. No hot tea, "fake" iced tea ... We can only assume it's all about the booze. But it's a shame because if someone trained the staff better & gave this bistro some TLC, it could be a great dining destination.
