“Family fun night out.”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Our three grandchildren, ages 17, 14 and 9, came to visit us from Massachusetts during their school vacation and for their last evening here, we took them to the Blazin' M Ranch to celebrate. We have visited before and were impressed with the professionalism that the staff and performers provide. The kids loved seeing the boardwalk and stores where they were able to make a few purchases at a reasonable price before we went in to dinner. We took the wagon ride with the '46 John Deere tractor and afterwards took a walk out to see the animals again. It was a cold evening, so the doors were opened early and the children warmed up with hot cocoa. The time flew by and we were served the delicious dinner - the biscuits are one of my favorites- and the chicken and ribs were moist and delicious. Otis' special sauce was on the table and we enjoyed that as an extra on the ribs. Also, the prickly pear cole slaw had us going back for seconds as the staff came around to pass out the extras. The apple crisp ala mode topped the dinner and then the show began. The music was excellent, and the kids loved Otis' story of Endercella - even the 9 year old who took a minute to catch on to what he was saying! We were snapping our fingers and clapping our hands to the music - loved it all - especially Otis' rendition of Tennessee Ernie Ford's "16 Tons". The topper was Ghost Riders with the ghost rider flashing by the window. Our youngest said, "Oh, I'm scared" but then wanted to go out and see the ghost rider to take his picture. The Blazin' M Dinner and Show gave us a memorable evening.

“A step in the past”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

We did not know what to expect when we arrived. A guided wagon ride is offered but we did not have time to take. There is a number of western buildings including a saloon, a jail etc. Supper was served at 6:30. It was done cafeteria style with us lining up to get our food. The food was filling and good but I found both the chicken and ribs overcooked. The entertainment was old cowboy. (Roy Rogers and Dale Evans era). Those who enjoyed this type of music loved it while I was neutral. The musicians were very professional. The show was only 1 hour long which was good because the hard wooden benches are hard on the back. I am glad we went but would not go back again. The highlight of the evening was the ride by the "Ghost Rider"

“You won't be disappointed”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We had a party of eight from the Phoenix area. The food (ribs, chicken, baked potatoe, coleslaw, biscuit and upside down cowboy beans were excellent and there was plenty of it. We had a teenage boy with us that can't get enough...until he came here. He almost didn't have room for dessert.

The entertainment was great and with a lot of variety. They got the whole audience involved. It was a show the whole family could enjoy with songs and comedy.

Our party participated in many of the outdoor activities, again designed for the entire family. The people from Phoenix were already talking about people they knew that would enjoy this type of entertainment and couldn't wait to get them up here.

You want to come early so you can enjoy all the aspects of the "Ranch".

“A Fun Time for Everyone”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

This was my third trip to Blazin M Ranch in 6 years. As always the food is great. The ribs and chicken are tender and moist. Especially loved the prickly pear coleslaw. The entertainers are very professional and have great voices. And the comedy part is fun. Enjoyed the ending where they sing Ghost Riders. The effects are wonderful. You can visit the western town before the dinner. The cost is very resonable for the dinner and entertainment. I will go back if in Arizona again. An excellent evening. Enjoy the night sky when you leave.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Lloyd and friends.
