“Must eat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2011

We started at this restaurant when it was with its original owners in Jerome, AZ. We stayed with it through all of the subsequent owners until it finally closed with the last ones.

It's back. The original owner has teamed up with another to essentially recreate the Cafe. The soups are divine. The orange and chocolate cakes are, too. Our vegetarian loves the place!

“Picky Eater”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2011

I am a very picky eater and there is nothing I won't eat on this menu. I love how they have new specials not on the menu every so often. Constantly trying to find new specials to try out on costumers and they are always so good. I love the service, the people, staff and owners make you feel welcome every time. The soups are amazing and always warm you up on cold winter or fall days.

“World Class Espresso & Terrific Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2011

Our espresso was prepared by an obvious master ( we were there the weekend of the Walk on Main St. event). It was served european style; incredibly bold, rich crema with a slight hint of cherry - in a word; fabulous. The food was an exceptional value, the Southwest chicken wrap came in a tomato tortilla, fresh greens, red onion, a hint of garlic & olive oil made for a perfect combination. The staff is friendly & accomodating and the atmosphere is relaxed. The Red Rooster is a great value for quality & originality. It is definitely worth a return visit!

“large portions, good food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2011

Went there for breakfast, had the western egg plate and sweet potato pancakes. They were both excellent. I would recommend sharing though, both were large enough to split. They were a little pricey but the portions were large enough to make up for that. The sweet potato pancakes were good enough to go find our own recipe to make at home.

“Great breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2011

During the stay at the Tavern Inn a $5.00 coupon was included towards breakfast at the Old Town Red Rooster Cafe. The food and service was both excellent. It was great start to the day.
